Early Summer in Guatemala

Sailing into Guatemala was our goal for Hurricane Season. It was intended as a safe harbor because Guatemala is out of the normal reach of hurricanes and our boat is now 26 miles up the Rio Dulce River, out of reach of surge or waves.

Sure, wind and rain can reach us to some extent, but here I feel we can withstand the wrath of Mother Nature if needed.
