Cabbage Key and Friends

Lovely, when friends remember the little things as well as the big ones.  Jack and Nicole Midence(s.v.kittyhawk-csy 44w.o.) thought of us and obviously remembered our conversations, when they visited Cabbage Key, Florida on their trip south from here.

The restaurant and bar on Cabbage Key is within the old home on top of the Indian mound.  I think the builder was Ann Reinhardt...a writer in the 20's.  Neat spot and always a good place to drop the hook on a passage south our north if you can.
Inside the bar/restaurant, most people have left a buck or two with their names emblazoned with marker, to later be donated for a local charity.
Jack and Nicole remembered my father John on the bill they put up.
