Trips via aircraft

For the last year we have had to do alot of flying back and forth to the states from Central America. This last flight was the toughest but all went well. Usually we travel from our boat down on the river, up to Guatemala City, a 5.5 hour bus ride...........often without air conditioning.
Yah! gringo's want everything. Then we stay overnight in a local hotel/"backpackers delight or slightly upscale"/ then leave the next day on a flight to the US, taking only about 3 hours. In Ft. Lauderdale, we get a rental car to drive ourselves to St. pete-4 hours away.

This trip we did it all in one day-22 hours. Left the boat at 5:30 a.m. by boat to town a mile away. Then a bus ride 5.5 hours to the big city. Then a 4 hour wait at the airport. Then a 3 hour flight. then a 4 hour car trip. Mon,,,, I wus tyrd.

All is well.
